Shakespears works was adapted across various genres like musical, movie ,plays operas and many more his legacy continues to be eternal. This film was adapted from shakespears  Elizabethan drama"The comedy of error" it was directed by the famous lyricist Gulzar it was released on 5 March 1982. The film is about two pairs of identical twins  separated at birth and how they meet in  adulthood. 


2.Maqbool

This film was adapted from Shakespearean trilogy "Macbeth" ooit was directed by Vishal Bharadwaj. It was released on 10 September 2003.

3. Omkara.                      
      


This film was adapted from Shakespearean tragedy "Othello" This movie also was directed by Vishal Bharadwaj. This was released on 28 July 2006. Omkara "omi" shukla(Ajai Devgn) is an enforcer for a gang that commits politii crimes for the local politician tiwari Bhaishab.

4. Haider

   

This movie was baced on Shakespearean tragedy on "Hamlet " This was directed by Vishal Bharadwaj  This movie released on     2 October 2014. In this film a young man becomes troubled after discovering that his mother's new husband may be responsible for his father's death. He sets out on a path of revenge and soon discovers that his loved one won't be spared either.      


This are the main movie from Shakespeare's drama and other movies like "Qayamat se Qayamat Tak" "Ram Leela" are also included in Bollywood. This is the Bollywood adduptation of Shakespeare's plays.
